THE AIB CHP-GO MODEL

CHP-GO model (version 1.11) - 27 May 2009
This Excel spreadsheet has been developed for the AIB to support the development of a European standard for high-efficiency CHP guarantees of origin as proposed by Directive 2004/8/EC.

Conditions of use
The General Meeting of the AIB agreed on 8th March 2007 to publish an initial version of this calculation model which complied with the latest vision of the CHP Committee concerning how the CHP Directive should be implemented. This version is an update of that model, which has been revised to comply with the version of the Guidelines to the CHP Directive that was approved by the CHP Committee on 9 October 2008; and to propose a common standard where these Guidelines are either not prescriptive or otherwise require interpretation.

The General Meeting of the AIB agreed on 30th September 2009 to publish this version of the model for use by members and non-members alike. The purpose of this model is to enable Member States to implement compliant CHP-GO systems quickly and effectively. While this model is provided in good faith and believed to be accurate, the AIB does not offer any explicit or implicit warranties of its reliability or accuracy.
