REC Market Meeting 2021/22
The REC Market Meeting took place on 5&6 April 2022 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Preconference sessions were held on 4 April.
The REC Market Meeting has grown from a small gathering for EAC professionals to a successful and recognized global platform for policy makers, markets players, NGOs and academics in the field of renewable energy consumption markets. Over the last ten years the conference has welcomed hundreds of delegates from a broad range of fields related to renewable energy industries and from all over the globe, to get informed, share expertise and strengthen their networks.
This year the conference focussed on developments which accelerate the demand for renewable energy. Growing interest in Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) for renewable gas, more granular time stamping, the impact of Brexit on EAC markets, as well as other important market information were reflected in this year’s conference.
AIB members joined at the rate of RECS members, and were also on the panel of speakers.
