AIB Hub transfers: where do EECS GOs flow?
This tool shows successfully completed AIB Hub transfers, counted by received time, from 1 January 2024 to 31 August 2026 (the end of the last calendar month). Volumes are aggregated by sending and receiving country or issuing body registry and shown in MWh (1 certificate = 1 MWh).

Norway is the clearing house of the electricity market: 1.457 TWh sent and 1.167 TWh received. Transfers from Norway to Germany alone were 441 TWh, representing 13,6% of all cross-border volume.
Electricity volume keeps climbing: 1.133 TWh in 2024, 1.198 TWh in 2025, and 917 TWh in just the first eight months of 2026 - peaking at 299 TWh in January 2026.
Gas is new and scaling fast: from just 4,5 GWh in all of 2024 to 2,01 TWh in the first eight months of 2026. The Netherlands sends the most; Spain and Finland receive the most.
