General Meeting
The Board is responsible for day-to-day management of the Association and meets monthly by teleconference, and physically a few times per year. The general cycle of meetings is organised so that budgetary plans are approved at the December General Meeting. Board members must prioritize the collective well-being of all AIB members and separate personal biases when acting within their capacity as Board members, even when considering their own country's interests.

Board meetings are attended by members of the Board, who vote of the basis of one person one vote. The Secretary General also attends these meetings, but without a vote. The Secretary General minutes each meeting. The Board members are elected for a three year term.
