AIB publishes Residual Mix for 2025
Nearly half of electricity consumption is dynamically tracked with GOs
BRUSSELS, 28 May 2026. The Association of Issuing Bodies (AIB) has published the 2025 European Residual Mix (RM) and European Attribute Mix (EAM) calculation results.
This provides an overview of electricity attributes that remain available for disclosure after the use of Guarantees of Origin (GOs) and other reliable tracking systems.

AIB news - Results for 2018 Electricity Residual Mixes published by AIB
AIB publishes the Residual Mixes and European Attribute Mix of 2018. The calculation was carried out by Grexel Systems Ltd on behalf of AIB, assisted by Ostfoldforskning and Ecoinvent.

The Institut Luxembourgeois de Régulation (ILR) will start in January 2019 periodic auctions of guarantees of origin (EECS RES GOs) for electricity produced in Luxembourg from renewable energy sources.
